Allie Schmitt started teaching at Valley Montessori School in the Fall of 2017, where she started in after-school childcare before moving upstairs to teach full time in the Redwood classroom. Allie received her B.A. in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Special Education from San Diego State University. She has her Elementary I and II credentials through San Francisco Bay Area Montessori Teaching Education Center. Allie has taught at VMS in both Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary teaching teams as well as part-time in the Middle School. This year she joins up in the Chestnut Lower Elementary classroom.
She is passionate about singing, and in college served as the President of a co-ed a cappella group. Allie is a VMS alumni, having attended school here from toddler through 8th grade.
