Janet Hernandez has over four years of experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children in Montessori and community-based settings, building a career rooted in nurturing early childhood development. She previously served as a Toddler Teacher Assistant here at VMS, supporting daily classroom routines and building strong relationships with children and families.

Janet's love for working with children extends beyond the classroom. She has volunteered as a coach assistant with a local youth running club, served as a field trip chaperone for elementary students, and spent years supporting preschool programs with Livermore Area Parks and Recreation. Janet is passionate about creating safe, nurturing environments where young learners can explore and grow. She's excited to return to VMS in the toddler program.
