Raj Kaur holds a Master of Science in School Counseling from National University and brings a strong background in behavioral support, having worked as a Behavior Technician for six years across multiple school settings. She also contributed to Pleasanton Unified School District’s first Social Emotional Learning team, providing professional development for educators.

Raj joined Valley Montessori School in 2020 and serves as the School Counselor, supporting students in their social, emotional, and academic growth. She is deeply involved in strengthening Social Emotional Learning (SEL) initiatives at VMS, working closely with students, teachers, and families to support the whole child.

At VMS, Raj supports students through individual counseling and small group work, helping them build self-awareness, navigate relationships, and develop emotional regulation skills. As both a counselor and a parent at VMS, she brings a thoughtful and connected perspective to her role. In her free time, she enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her family.
