Carolina Valenzuela holds a Bachelor of Education with an emphasis in Humanities and Language from Universidad Libre de Colombia. Having already earned her Montessori Early Childhood certification through AMS, she is completing her Montessori Elementary I certification through the Montessori Training and Education Center in the San Francisco Bay Area,

Carolina brings hands-on classroom experience, including a year at Evergreen Montessori School in San Jose, where she supported prepared environments, individualized learning, and children's academic, social, and emotional development. She has also taught Reading and English in Colombia and is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Carolina is excited to join the VMS community and continue growing as a Montessori educator. She looks forward to getting to know each of the families in the Chestnut classroom.
